OBTU Spring Fishing Outing in NE Iowa

Join Oak Brook Trout Unlimited members for a weekend of fishing, fun, and food based in Decorah, northeast Iowa!

This is a great trip for fly fishers of all experience levels. If you are new to the sport or unfamiliar with the Iowa Driftless, we can pair you up with an OBTU member who can offer some coaching/guiding. There are many excellent places to fish in the area including North Bear & South Bear Creeks, Waterloo Creek, Trout Run & others.

Participants will arrange their own travel plans, schedules, and lodging. For those interested, efforts will be made to arrange ride sharing.

While travel and lodging for this trip are arranged “on your own”, we plan to meet on Friday & Saturday evenings for group dinners which are typically held at the following Decorah, Iowa locations:
