Missouri’s four trout parks are great places to fish with family and friends, and the odds of actually catching and landing fish is high—both rainbow and brown trout.
Bennett Spring State Park
Located in Dallas and Laclede Counties is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday. The daily trout tag is $3 for adults and $2 for youth 15 and younger. Trout tags and permits can be purchased at the park. The fishing seasons are:
- November 13, 2015 – February 8, 2016. Catch-and-release fishing only. Flies only.
- March 1, 2016 – October 31, 2016. Daily limit of 4 trout.
Maramec Spring State Park
Located in Crawford and Phelps Counties is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday. The daily trout tag is $3 for adults and $2 for youth 15 and younger. Trout tags and permits can be purchased at the park. The fishing seasons are:
- November 13, 2015 – February 8, 2016. Catch-and-release fishing only. Flies only.
- March 1, 2016 – October 31, 2016. Daily limit of 4 trout.
Montauk State Park
