Try-It, Ty-It Fly-Tying Workshop

The Will County Forest Preserve District has partnered with Oak Brook Chapter of Trout Unlimited so you can try your hand at fly tying. This workshop is intended for those with limited fly-tying experience, including beginners. General techniques needed for fly tying will be shown, and basic trout fly patterns will be demonstrated. All equipment and materials are provided by Trout Unlimited.
Three sessions will be offered:
- 10 to 11:30 a.m.
- Noon to 1:30 p.m.
- 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 12 or older. (Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.)

The Forest Preserve District of Will County is privileged to host a customer fly-fishing exhibit curated by the American Museum of Fly Fishing.
