Annual Illinois Trout Unlimited Youth Conservation and Fly Fishing Camp

The 16th annual edition of the Illinois Council of Trout Unlimited Youth Conservation and Fly Fishing camp is scheduled for July 20-25, 2025 on the Au Sable River near Grayling, Michigan. Girls and boys aged 13 to 18 are eligible to apply.
The camp provides an outstanding opportunity for youth to learn fly fishing for wild stream trout on the pristine Michigan stream where Trout Unlimited was founded, while also learning about conservation of our coldwater environment. Food, lodging, transportation and equipment are provided.
The camp mission is to develop the next generation of coldwater conservation advocates while also providing a rigorous introduction to the sport of fly fishing on the famed Au Sable River in Michigan.
