Train the Trainers

Anyone planning to volunteer to help with the youth fly fishing classes this summer should try to attend.

We look to inform new volunteers, review and discuss programs with the existing volunteers, and look for ways to improve our programs going forward.  We will review:

• Youth Fly Fishing program.   We discuss the skills – knot tying, fly tying, casting, tackle assembly – that we must pass on to the students in these classes.
  • This year we will be more hands-on to ensure that all mentors know the items to be taught.
