SUMMARY:SE Wisconsin & OBTU Join Forces for a joint work day in SE Wisc.
DESCRIPTION:SEWTU and Oakbrook\, TU will return to Tichigan Creek this Saturday October 12th. This is a unique little stream that has been rediscovered by SEWTU and the DNR in the past 5 years. It is located in Western Racine County Wisconsin in the Tichigan Wildlife Area. \nThere is a parking lot located where the stream crosses Marsh Road where we can park and work from. The workday will begin at 9:00 am and end at noon. The plans for the workday are to install 32 biologs along the creek very near to the road. Volunteers should bring waders or hip boots as the majority of the work is in the creek or marsh area. Additionally bring work gloves and safety glasses. \nThe traditional brat fry will follow so bring a chair for afterwards. Currently the weather forecast is very favorable for the workday.
