SUMMARY:Michigan Swing Steelhead Trip
DESCRIPTION:This November\, Tuesday the 14th through Saturday the 18th\, Stan Zarnowiecki \nis planning a Steelhead fishing trip for Oak Brook Trout Unlimited members to the rivers of Northern Michigan\, near Traverse City\, prime time.  We have reserved accommodations at a private home and guides for 8 anglers. The house will sleep up to 8 comfortably. \nStan has negotiated a reduced rate of $1\,895.00 per angler which covers lodging for four nights\, fishing for 3 days with guides\, and all meals.  Guiding will be done by Luke Vandenberg and his crew. \nWe will have the opportunity to fish a few different rivers including the Big Manistee\, Pere Marquette\, Little Manistee\, Betsie\, depending on conditions.  We will be fishing using two hand rods and swinging for Steelhead.  This is a great trip if you have already dipped your toe into this style of fishing as well as for those who want to try their hand at the swing game.  Fishing will be done wading in the rivers but for those who don’t feel comfortable with wading\, you will be able to stay in the boat and cast\, staying dry.  Equipment will be provided for anybody that doesn’t own their own. \nA $500.00 nonrefundable deposit will be needed as soon as possible to secure your reservation. \nContact Stan Zarnowiecki for more info\, prez@blackhawkrgc.com or 708-606-4148 cell. \nChecks should be made out to Vandenberg Guide Service and sent to: \nStan Zarnowiecki \n745 S. DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Chris Collier\, Project Manager\, & Danielle Nelson\, Project Coordinator\, from the TU Great Lakes Stream Restoration Program. Chris & Danielle are currently leading stream improvement work in NE Wisconsin. \nTopic: Danielle and Chris will update OBTU on their stream restoration and monitoring efforts.
