DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Carl Hueter \nTopic: Fishing “Henry’s Fork” and other locations in western states: Every angler dreams of someday fishing Idaho’s Henry’s Fork\, where even the most experienced anglers can be guaranteed a challenge. But novices will also find miles of the lower Henry’s Fork that offer easy\, accessible fishing. Carl will discuss his experience fishing the area. He will offer guidance to anyone who who dreams of some day making the pilgrimage. \nMore About Carl: Carl Hueter has served as a TU National Leadership Council member as well as Michigan TU Council Chairman. He is a noted conservationist of northern Michigan’s Au Sable River where TU was founded\, and an ardent angler of the Au Sable and elsewhere. \nCarl is also a classic tackle aficionado who sells cane\, fine reels\, and other angling paraphernalia through his resurrected Wanigas Rod Company\, originally operated by Art Neumann\, TU’s first executive director.  Link To: Wanigas Rod Company  \nWe thank Carl for his many years of enthusiastic support of the Illinois TU Youth Camp. Carl joins us each year in mentoring youth at camp as well as providing invaluable assistance to our Illinois Youth Camp leadership team. He owns a historic river house on the North Branch of the Au Sable River where he hosts Illinois TU Council youth campers each summer for a full day of fly fishing and educational activity. \nA professional architect by trade\, Carl makes his home in Ann Arbor.
